The St. Patrick's Festival Race Day at The Curragh Racecourse, sponsored by Nua Healthcare, was a resounding success. On March 18, 2024, members of the Nua team joined representatives from the Individuals Committee and their staff for an enjoyable day at the races. The event launched the flat racing season and highlighted the importance of physical activity for good mental health.
The joyous atmosphere was palpable, and many from our team fully embraced the day's spirit—some even left with heavier pockets from their race winnings!
The event was also a great opportunity to reinforce our commitment to inclusivity for people with mental health conditions and intellectual disabilities. In association with the Kildare Sports Partnership, we were also proud to sponsor the event to help raise funds for the many fantastic sports clubs in County Kildare.
The collaboration was a significant step in championing our message within the community. The Curragh Racecourse provided a perfect backdrop for advocates and supporters to engage, discuss, and bring about positive change.
